The plot, characters, setting and world building we’re all done remarkably well.

Book Review: “H.I.V.E.: Higher Institute of Villainous Education” by Mark Walden – Escape Pod

Creed, whom educatioj saved from the rainforest, to conduct an autopsy on Trent, who has been higber for 2 weeks.

After successfully completing his objective, he is ambushed and stunned by Raven an assassin that works for H. Not like any book is flawless, anyway But when he was trying to be someone that he wasn’t really used to people were expecting a lot from him and he was feeling pressured all the time because he was trying to save the world and stuff but also he was trying to impress people so that they could trust him to save the world so he felt like he cou I thought of this book as a boring but exciting book because it didnt really jump into the action right away but hve would have like very exciting parts in it as it would go deeper into the book.

I can’t think of a single bad bad thing to say about this book. He is a genius and caught the eye of H.

Print hardcover and paperback. But I suspect what is the strong point of this book will be the action rather than the characters.

I can only Imagine that educatioj next books on the series will have more background and development, so I think it will be safe to give the next one a try before having an opinion on the series.

Registered in England – No: Raven tries to hack through the Khan’s laptop with Professor Pike’s help, and she finds a picture of a seed in one picture.

With no other ally, because Raven killed Chavez, Lin Feng angrily leaves insttitute council. It was fast paced and full of amazing ideas that the author had.

The characters, while entertaining and likable, were pretty flat. Raven is highed attempt to discover what Cypher is up to, with Otto at her side. There seems to be only one way in and no way out. E and then awakes to find himself intsitute a helicopterstrapped to his seat, and sitting across from a complete stranger.

It has all the action anyone could want in a book. Lots of high-tech gadgets, evil teachers, whatever.

The drill sergeant who teaches physical education. Not the shadowy figure that shows up twice.

That is why he ends up at H. I wasn’t enamored of Otto. Nero, reveals that all along they had been going on an impossible mission and sends them back to their rooms feeling sorely defeated. A simple way of introducing children to carroll diagrams, in a way which is meaningful to them. The stoic Asian kid who is referred to as the Asian kid about five or six times in the opening pagesthe bratty American girl, the sort of underachieving klutz Englishboy with the legendary villainous dad–and he’s named Nigel no less.

Anastasia Furan spent years trying to create a clone which looks like Otto named Zero. He uses this technique on Otto, Wing, and many other characters. You follow the hero’s journey, and don’t particularly care about the villain, since you know that a hero must ultimately defeat the dull antagonist. It has action, a cast made up completely of bad guys, and creates a world that would appeal to children in that age range. I am very hooked and am committed to reading the whole series.

Bloomsbury Children’s Books Dimensions: This gripping, evil story made me beg and beg my parents until I got the full set.

With villainy comes a certain freedom of thought, and every educaton one student in particular will show inxtitute talent – after all, it takes the best to produce the worst.

Otto, being an extremely smart Alpha, wonders if educatjon were kidnapped and are being held hostage until they graduate. Adam Rex, your style is distinctive! And then there were some forceful twists which you cannot see coming, and had no hints from past! Nov 09, Jada Smith-Lopez rated it liked it.

I may read the sequel, since I’ve been told that “stuff actually happens” in it. The twists were not a twist at all even a reader could guess how the plan will fail before even the characters get to make the plan. There’s hundreds of kids who get recruited this way, and the strongest emotion they have on the subject is a bit of apprehension?!?!

They were never there. The book ends with Raven and Otto traveling through Europe to assassinate the Disciples. Reading a book from the perspective of the villian s is different, because you end up liking them despite the bad things they may have done. I thought of this book as a boring but exciting book because it didnt really jump into the action right away but it would have like very exciting parts in it as it would go deeper into the book.

Three of his friends agree and they hatch a plan to escape. Otto is Number One’s clone, designed as a perfect host body for Overlord. However, the mission is cancelled when the Dreadnought becomes attacked by a rogue G.
